Getting started
5 questionsWhat is Sportflare?
Sportflare helps you find nearby people to play sports with, discover activities, and organize games of your own. You can also connect with players and take part in clubs.
How do I create an account or sign in?
Enter your email on the sign-up or sign-in page and use the verification code sent to your inbox. You can also use a social sign-in option when one is shown. Sportflare’s email sign-in does not require a password.
What if my sign-in code does not arrive?
Check your spam folder and confirm that you entered the correct email address. Use the resend option when it becomes available. If you still cannot sign in, contact support.
Do I need to be an experienced player?
You can look for activities that suit your experience. Check the activity’s sport, description, and any level range before joining; if approval is needed, the host can review your request.
Is Sportflare free?
You can get started with a free account. Paid memberships may offer additional features; check the available plans in Billing on the web for current features and prices.
Finding and joining activities
5 questionsHow do I find an activity near me?
Browse activities using the map or list and select your location and sport. Adjust the available filters or search area to find a suitable game.
Am I confirmed as soon as I press Join?
Some activities let eligible players join immediately; others send a request for the host to approve. Check the status shown on the activity page: a pending request or waitlist entry is not a confirmed place.
Why does an activity ask the host to approve me?
Activities without a level range require host approval. For activities with a range, your sport level and how established it is can affect instant joining; ranked games have additional requirements. You can still request approval when instant joining is unavailable.
Skill levels, ratings and trustWhat happens when an activity is full?
When a waitlist is available, you can queue for a place. If room opens and you are promoted, your request goes to the host for approval; promotion alone does not confirm your place. A full or locked activity may stop accepting new requests.
Why can I not find an activity someone told me about?
Check your selected location, filters, and whether the activity is still accepting players. Some activities are intended for a host’s connections or club members, and private activities do not appear in public discovery.
Hosting and managing activities
5 questionsHow do I create an activity?
Choose the sport, location, date and time, and available player places. Add a useful description and review the participation and visibility options before publishing.
Can I invite players I already know?
Yes. Hosts can invite players to their activity, and invitees can accept or decline. A place is confirmed when the invitation is accepted and space is still available.
Can I organize a regular game?
Yes. Recurring activities support weekly, every-other-week, and monthly schedules. Each session has its own roster, so check your participation for the specific session you want to attend.
Can I edit or cancel an activity?
Hosts can manage upcoming activities and cancel them when plans change. Check the activity’s current status for the actions available; completed activities cannot be edited. Let your players know about changes as early as possible.
Can I leave an activity or withdraw my request?
You can withdraw a pending or waitlisted request, or leave an activity while leaving is available. Do this as soon as your plans change so the host can organize the remaining places.
Venues and court arrangements
3 questionsDoes creating an activity reserve a court?
Creating an activity organizes the players; it does not itself confirm a court reservation. Check the venue’s booking information and arrange the space with the venue before telling players it is secured.
Where can I find venue details?
Open a venue page to see the facilities, amenities, and available contact or booking information. Confirm current opening hours, prices, and availability with the venue.
Can I add a venue or correct its information?
Signed-in users can add a venue and suggest changes to existing venue information. Corrections are reviewed before publication.
Clubs, connections, and chat
4 questionsWhat are clubs for?
Clubs bring a sports community together around shared activities and discussion. Browse clubs to find a group that suits the sports you play.
How do I join a club?
The club page shows whether you can join directly, send a request, or need an invitation. If approval is required, wait for a club manager to accept your request.
How do I stay connected with another player?
Send a connection request from their profile. Once they accept, you are connected and can find each other through your connections.
Is there a chat for my activity?
Activity members can use the activity discussion to coordinate while the activity is live. New messages are disabled after the activity is completed or cancelled. You can manage your available activity and club discussions from Threads.
Skill, trust, and notifications
4 questionsWhat is the difference between my sport level and Trust Score?
Your sport level describes your playing ability in a particular sport. Trust Score describes reliability and attitude; skill is separate from that score.
Skill levels, ratings and trustWhen can I rate the people I played with?
After an activity ends, eligible participants have 48 hours to leave ratings. Open the activity or follow the rating notification to see the available questions.
Why is my level or Trust Score not established yet?
These indicators need enough playing and rating evidence before they can be treated as established or displayed. Keep playing and receiving feedback; read the skill levels, ratings and trust guide for the requirements.
Skill levels, ratings and trustHow do I control notifications?
Open Settings → Notifications to choose the available alerts and manage push notifications. Push also needs permission from your browser or device; if notifications are blocked, check that permission too.
Safety, privacy, and support
4 questionsHow do I report a problem?
Use the Report action on the relevant profile or content and explain what happened. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team; the reported person is not told who submitted the report.
Can I block another player?
Yes. Use the blocking controls for that player, and manage your blocked list in account settings. The other person is not notified that you blocked them.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Account and use Delete account. You may need to sign in again before confirming. Read the Privacy Policy for information about data deletion and any records retained for safety or other stated purposes.
How do I contact support?
Email the support address shown below and describe the issue. Include the relevant activity or venue link when useful, and never send sign-in codes or full payment-card details.
